Pk3A has been having a great year! In September, we met many new friends and new teachers too. Before long we learned everyone’s name. We became acquainted with our new school and quickly learned the routine of being in a “big kid” school. We soon
began working on our fine motor skills by coloring and cutting. We continue to get better at these skills every day!
We had a very busy autumn, learning the days of the week and the months of the year. We love to sing about them every day. Our friends from the Cinnaminson Fire Department came for a visit and gave us tips on how to be fire smart! We even got to go inside the fire
truck! Halloween was so much fun. We dressed up and had an awesome parade and party. Our wonderful room parents helped us with all the fun.
We have a great group of friends in 5th grade that we call our “buddies”. Our buddies and their teacher are very nice to us. They come to visit us and help us work on cool projects. We even went on a fun nature walk together. It is fun having a friend who is so grown up!
The blessed season of Advent is upon us. As a school community, we are all trying to be kind. Pk3A students are working very hard to help our classroom Grinch’s heart grow. Every day our kindness helps his heart grow one more size.
The annual pre-k Christmas show is always a delight. Our sing-along is always a lot of fun and a great way to spread Christmas cheer to our family and friends. Before we begin our Christmas vacation, we are having a baby shower to honor baby Jesus. Our class donated baby supplies to give to a local hospital to help babies. Pre-K loves to be kind.
We are excited to see what the rest of the school year has in store for us. We love to grow and learn together!
