When it came time to choose a school for Sienna to attend kindergarten, I knew I wanted to continue a family legacy.
Many members of our family have walked the halls of St. Charles Borromeo, and continuing this legacy means honoring the tradition, service, and lifelong learning that define the school.
Continuing our family’s connection to St. Charles is about more than tradition—it is an opportunity to grow in faith, character, and academic excellence within a community that has shaped generations of my family. The school’s strong emphasis on service helps develop compassionate, responsible leaders guided by their faith.
At St. Charles, lifelong learning is more than a goal—it is a way of life. Through strong academics, faith formation, and service opportunities, Sienna is gaining the skills she needs to continue learning well beyond her school years.
Just one year later, I now find myself back in the halls of St. Charles Borromeo—this time as the fourth-grade teacher—with both of my children attending the school in first grade and Pre-K 4.
Teaching at St. Charles, where I was once a student, and sharing this experience with my children is a true blessing. From the very beginning, they have formed meaningful friendships, benefited from the dedication of caring teachers, and learned the value of service rooted in faith.
We are proud to continue our family legacy at St. Charles Borromeo—where faith, tradition, and excellence grow together.
This concludes our Why We Chose St. Charles series. Check back Tuesday morning for our new series: Why Choose a Catholic Education for Your Family.
