The McDonough family chose to send Olivia McDonough to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School because of the strong personal connection and shared values it represents.
From the beginning, David McDonough, a St. Charles graduate who attended kindergarten through eighth grade along with his siblings, always knew he wanted his own family to experience the same kind of education, where morals, faith, and character come first.
St. Charles also provides a solid academic foundation that prepares students for future success while maintaining a nurturing environment.
The small, close-knit community enables each child to develop their individuality while embracing the school’s culture and mission, always allowing God to lead the way. Olivia has had the opportunity to learn from so many wonderful teachers during her time at St. Charles Borromeo.
Her constant has always been Mrs. Glass in the office, who is always there for her with kindness and care. Mrs. Pelosi treats her just like her own and is always just a phone call away for any medical concern.
Mrs. Zimecki has also been a trusted presence; someone Olivia can lean on whenever any issues arise. This school truly embodies everything a child needs to grow, feel supported, and be successful both academically and in character.
Check back every week for a new story from one of our amazing families about why they chose St. Charles for their children.
