Why We Chose St. Charles - The Roa Duran Family

The Roa Duran family: Carlos, Auris (PreK 4 Aide), Sebastian (2nd), and Amelia (K).

We purchased our first house in 2021, and our primary concern was to find a Catholic church in the area. As soon as we started attending mass, we felt welcome and part of the community.

Finding a Catholic school for our kids was also very important to us, and we were very happy when we found out that St. Charles offered Pre-K 3 through 8th grade. 

We immediately knew St. Charles was the place we wanted for both of our kids to continue building their faith in God and to be in a school that provides them with love, care, and support. Most importantly, instilling in them values like kindness, honesty, and respect.

Our son Sebastian is now in 2nd grade, and our daughter Amelia is now in Kindergarten, and they are so grateful to attend St. Charles. We love how they come home talking about Jesus and how they have grown even more in their relationship with God. 

This is my third year as part of the staff at St. Charles (Auris Duran, Pre-K 4 Aide), and I am so glad that God opened my path to this position. It is an honor to be part of this family. I am so sure there is no better place than Saint Charles!
