Why We Chose St. Charles - The Wojnar Family

We have four children who are all graduates of St. Charles: Brianna - Class of 2017, Tyler - Class of 2019, Jessica - Class of 2020, and Kevin - Class of 2025.

When Brianna was entering 1st grade, we attended an Open House to check out the school.

We quickly felt at home when we visited, and the small, close-knit family feel was exactly what Brianna needed since she was very shy and reserved.

Our intuition was correct, and Brianna did very well and loved it - special shoutout to Mrs. Culp, who was her 1st grade teacher and guided her through that first year.

We decided to send all of our other children to St. Charles without giving it a second thought. Each of them had different and unique experiences - what was consistent, though, was the love that they felt when they walked through the halls.

All the students and teachers knew our kids by name, creating a strong sense of belonging. Each of our kids was not just some child walking through the halls; each was seen as a unique individual with their own talents and abilities.

The older students looked out and cared for the younger students, and the younger ones looked up and admired the older ones, fostering a strong sense of community and family.

Education and faith are tied closely together in all aspects of the curriculum. Our children all learned the value of love, service, kindness, compassion, and respect toward others. No matter what they do in life, these values can be applied to all aspects of their lives and truly inspire others to do the same. St. Charles provided the nurturing and safe environment that they truly needed to develop into the best versions of themselves.
